Get to know Jackson:
Bridging Art, Environment, and Human Connection.
Jackson Allred is an Atlanta-based conductor, filmmaker, and professional diver whose work bridges disciplines to create art that connects, inspires, and transforms. Whether on the podium, behind the camera, or beneath the surface, he seeks to tell stories that celebrate collaboration and the beauty of shared effort.
As a conductor, Jackson has led ensembles at Georgia State University and beyond, building community-driven projects such as the Georgia Aquarium concert series and the forthcoming Atlanta training orchestra for post-graduate musicians. As a filmmaker, his directorial debut Harmony of Freedom united major cultural institutions in Atlanta to honor the 60th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act — blending history, performance, and civic reflection into a single creative vision.
In addition to his artistic work, Jackson serves as a professional maintenance diver at the Georgia Aquarium, caring for marine habitats and learning from the quiet discipline of underwater teamwork. That same patience and precision inform his approach to music and film alike.
He earned his Master of Music in Orchestral Conducting from Georgia State University under the mentorship of Dr. Tamara Dworetz and has trained at the Aspen Conducting Academy and the National Orchestral Institute.
